IIM CAT Exam Pattern 2024
The CAT 2024 exam has 66 questions across three sections. The question types include both MCQs and non-MCQs (TITA). First section is Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) with 24 questions (21 MCQs, 3 TITAs), 2nd section is Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) with 20 questions (14 MCQs, 6 TITAs), and 3rd section is Quantitative Ability (QA) with 22 questions (14 MCQs, 8 TITAs). Each correct answer earns +3 points while incorrect responses in MCQs incur a -1 penalty. The exam duration is 120 minutes.
