RRB Paramedical Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB Paramedical Exam 2025 is design to test candidates on key subjects, including Professional Ability, General Knowledge, Math and Reasoning, and General Science. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each with four answer options, for a total of 100 marks. Negative marking is applied for every incorrect answer. - Professional Ability – 70 questions, 70 marks
- General Knowledge – 10 questions, 10 marks
- Math, General Intelligence & Reasoning -10 questions, 10 marks
- General Science – 10 questions, 10 marks
Note – The time duration to solve the exam paper of RRB Paramedical avails that General candidates are given 90 minutes. While candidates with cognitive disabilities using a scribe have 120 minutes.
RRB Paramedical Selection Process 2025
The selection process for RRB Paramedical Recruitment is structure to ensure a comprehensive assessment of candidates through several critical stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – The initial step involves a CBT aimed at evaluating the candidates’ knowledge and skills essential for paramedical roles.
- Shortlisting for Document Verification (DV) – Candidates will shortlist for DV and Medical Examination at a ratio of 1:1 for the vacancies available in their selected RRB. Normalization of marks will apply for CBT conducted in multiple shifts.
- Medical Fitness Test – Candidates who successfully clear the CBT will proceed to the Medical Fitness Test, where they must meet the prescribed medical standards for their chosen posts. Those deemed medically unsuitable will not be offered alternative positions.
- Final Merit List – After these evaluations, a final merit list will generate based on candidates’ performances in the CBT.
