UP NHM CHO Bharti 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification – Candidates must have completed either a B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) or a Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with the CCHN curriculum. This curriculum must be from an institute or university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or a State Nursing Council, from the academic year 2020 onward.
Registration Requirements – Candidates must be registered with the UP Nurses & Midwives Council. Those registered with other state nursing councils are eligible, provided they submit UP registration within 90 days of provisional joining. Candidates without UP registration must submit a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper affidavit (Rs. 100) at the time of Document Verification, committing to provide UP Nurses & Midwives Council registration within 90 days.
Provisional Joining Conditions – For those joining based on other state nursing council registration, their appointment as a CHO is provisional until UP registration is submitted. Failure to submit the certificate within 90 days will result in cancellation of candidature and a service termination notice from the District Health Society (DHS). The candidate will also be required to pay the surety bond amount of Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Ineligibility for Current CHOs in UP – Candidates already working as CHOs in Uttar Pradesh are not eligible to apply. These eligibility guidelines ensure that qualified nursing professionals are effectively prepared to contribute as Community Health Officers in Uttar Pradesh.

UP NHM CHO Salary 2024
